Steel frame project for the future home stadium of the FK BODØ/GLIMT team.
This project showcases how complex steel structures can be designed far more efficiently with precise and intuitive modeling tools. Using FEM Design, SWETCH’s engineers successfully managed thousands of bar elements, optimized structural stability, and delivered a robust structural model capable of withstanding the extreme Arctic climate.
The stadium is a modern, sustainable facility accommodating 10 000 spectators across 18 000 m². Designed to endure heavy snow loads, strong winds, and extreme cold, it embodies both resilience and innovation.
Its distinctive diamond-shaped silhouette creates a strong architectural identity, with a roof and façade composed of geometrically arranged panels that balance symmetry with visual dynamism.
